Two interesting real-life Tarzan tales

First up a girl, age 8, goes missing and is captured 19 years later:

…managed to trap it ? ?it? turning out to be Rochom. Authorities describe her as ?half-man, half-animal,? nothing but ?skin and bone? and she seems to have lost all her language skills. She also hunches forward when she walks, like a monkey; but as different as she had become, a recognizable scar (and a DNA test) helped prove her identity. Her reintroduction to society is not going so well…

But on a more heartwarming note:

In 1987 an orphaned Ugandan toddler named John Ssabunnya was abandoned in the jungle, where he faced almost certain death. If it weren?t for a group of good-samaritan monkeys, that would?ve been the case.

Giant Rabbits ATAAAAAAACK!!!

A German breeder has got some big ol’ rabbits happenin’:

This is not a Photoshop goof, although we can blame perspective and foreshortening for enhancing the illusion of the rabbit’s FREAKIN’ GIGUNDAS HEAD.

But we can also blame the fact that Mr. Hop-hop weighs in at 22 lbs. (almost twice the weight of my smaller cat Itchy).

UFO (or UAP) over O’Hare?

At least six airport workers report a “disc-shaped object” over O’Hare. Their superiors are dismissive.

All the witnesses to the O’Hare event, who included at least several pilots, said they are certain based on the disc’s appearance and flight characteristics that it was not an airplane, helicopter, weather balloon or any other craft known to man.

Unidentified blurry object over Florida

Google Maps offers complete (although sometimes dated) satellite photo coverage of the United States. What was going on in this Florida neighborhood when THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN?

What is that blurry, saucer-shaped object that appears to be about the size of four houses?

I’ve kept a screen print of the Google page just in case the UFO-suppression conspiracy removes the satellite image from the Google site.
