Publishers Weekly posts a preview of the new GRUNTS: WAR STORIES trade paperback today. They’re featuring all ten pages of my “Over the Hill” story. That’s right! You can read the whole darn thing online! It’s a good one so get your handkerchiefs ready.

Of course, if you’d prefer to read it on luxurious paper, it’ll be in comic shops this week. The book contains my story and eight others by great comic writers, all with art by “Wrasslin’” Matt Jacobs!

Over at THE PULSE you’ll find a preview of GRUNTS: WAR STORIES. That’s the collection of original short stories written by various comics creators featuring Keith Giffen and Shannon Denton’s WW2 characters. The Pulse article has the first three pages of the story I contributed called “Over the Hill”.

GRUNTS Comin’ at ya!

Woo-hoo. The GRUNTS: WAR STORIES trade paperback is coming from Arcana this April. It’s a collection of short stories based on Shannon Eric Denton & Keith Giffen’s squad of resourceful U.S. Amry guys who encounter strange things on the World War II battlefield.

I’m psyched because I’ve got a short story contained within. Mine is a straight-ahead tale of three of the grunts taking on a platoon of Nazis to recover a stolen document.

You’ve also got stories from great comic writers like Marc Bernardin, Adam Freeman, Kevin Grevioux, Dwight MacPherson and Christopher E. Long to name a few.

The tireless Matt “More Red Bull” Jacobs drew the whole thing.

It’s 9 new stories plus pinups and extras.
