‘Advent’ gets positive vibes from Fourth Rail

“This comic is Starship Troopers meets Rudy. There are two plotlines — Ethan’s conflicts with his stubborn cadets, and Gideon’s awkward efforts to fit in among the hometown kids — and while they’re not complex, the two divergent stories make for a varied read. The balance between the two main characters’ stories is maintained nicely, and the shifts back and forth keep the reader from becoming bored.“
