I promised some of you I’d look into posting the unpublished “Young Ancient One” scripts here.
Marvel has denied me permission to do so, so it looks like the cliffhangers will remain unresolved.
On a completely unrelated note, I have script samples available to anyone interested in my writing work. If you have a professional interest, please feel free to drop me an e-mail and I’ll send out some samples. Remember, specify in your e-mail that you need samples for professional reasons.
Can you at least just plain tell us what you “would” have done with the character? Or is that still too much? 🙁

They dont want you to put the scipt here because,there going to publish the mini-serie with a number one issue(Like they should.)or do they just want to forget about YAO?
No…no…the comic is dead.
You know, if someone sent me an e-mail stating they had a professional interest in obtaining some writing samples I would have no reason to doubt them. I’d probably send YAO #2 and #3 as samples.

ah… I have the following problems…
Marvel used you’re info from issue one to complete a lot of details on the Ancient Ones past in the new handbook. Oke… that is cool. Because the comics that were released should be part of the Marvel Univserse (if that is still alive, which I have some doubts in).
So… that would mean for the continuity that the unpublished story line or major info should be part of it too. If not, what is the reason to not let you give out the info…?
I recently used some info from Roy Thomas / JM L’officier on an unpublished ‘book of Vishanti’ story to complete major holes in continuity.
If there is any stuff in there that should be part of the Ancient Ones bio, I would like to know (and with me the moderator of the Unofficial Marvel Handbook too).
Hey Erik…I did see the Spirit Leopard and other references in the handbook last year. I don’t think there was anything in the remainder of the story that would necessarily be a big impact on the character’s history. The story leaves him resolved to abandon the leopard disguise, become a teacher to help the villagers better defend themselves and track down the Ancient Ones (both to learn their ways and deliver the demon Mahgra to them).
But no…continuity issues are not why Marvel refused to let me post the scripts here. The real reason is simply that the contract stated that they owned the scripts and to have them release the scripts to me for publication here would have taken too much effort.
