Epic Anthology #1 is now less than a week away. The triple sized comic will contain “Young Ancient One” #1 by myself, Andy Kuhn, Bill Crabtree and Dave Sharpe, along with “Sleepwalker” #1 by Robert Kirkman and Khary Randolph and “Strange Magic” #1 by Jason Henderson and Greg Scott. All that for a measly $5.99.
In spite of all the drama around the Epic line, it is my first published work as a comic writer so I’m still pretty excited about it. The first issue came out great. For seven pages of “Young Ancient One” preview art go here.
You can also find six pages of “Sleepwalker” preview art here.
And there are six pages of “Strange Magic” art here.
I still have no idea what the cover to the magazine will look like. Marvel hasn’t shown it to us yet.

Really? No cover image? That’s odd…
Can’t wait ’till next week’s haul at the shop! 😉
Yeah. “Odd” is one word for it…
I pre-ordered my 11 copies of it. OK, OK< it was only 1, but it's the thought that counts, right? I will review it without ever calling it the "doomed-to-failure Epic anthology," nor any other doom and gloom phrases. -Augie
Thanks, Augie. Actually, “Doomed To Fail” was one of the rejected names for the anthology book.
