So the comic solicitations came out last month and our very own “Epic Anthology” comic was in the “Marvel Previews” catalog, reasonably priced at $5.99. That’s good news.
Then the e-mails started coming…
It turns out that the “Diamond Previews” order book had the comic priced higher. In the past few weeks I’ve seen several postings on message boards from potential readers who are confused about which price is correct.
Let me clarify this for anyone who is confused: the correct cover price for “Epic Anthology #1” is $5.99.
I have been assured of this by Marvel who will be issuing a press release and Diamond is in the process of sending corrections to comic retailers. The discrepancy was due to the fact that the book was originally a 4-in-1 special and a higher price was quoted at that time.
So please, don’t let the erroneous price fool you into not pre-ordering. The book is $5.99 for three first issues under one cover…not a bad price at all.
