Well, the cat was released from said bag yesterday evening over at Newsarama.com. The “Young Ancient One” team only got word of this development some five and a half hours before they published it. There are no secrets in the information age, apparently.
Needless to say, the anthology book is not something we wanted or expected.
I’ll have a more complete statement on Monday and I’m sure there’ll be plenty of follow up reports at the various comic news sites.

This whole Epic situation stinks. It seems like they’ve given up on it before giving it a chance.
I’ll definitely be picking up a copy of the anthology and urging others to do the same. We’ll see YAO to fruition no matter what Marvel throws at us.
Thanks, dude! I really appreciate it. Your support means a lot to me and the rest of the YAO team.
No matter how they print your story, I’ll be picking it up. Hang in there! Ya never know what could happen…
Thanks, Jamie. I remain hopeful!
Expect me to buy this story no matter how they publish it…
There was once a time that Marvel gave new talent a real chance… I’m still hoping.
Thanks, Erik!
